The last week of school before Halloween can leave your classroom CRAZY! Students who struggle with self-regulation, sensoryprocessing issues and impulsivity are easily revved up. Tap into their natural excitement and interest in Halloween and keep them engaged in learning.
Add Halloween manipulatives, visuals and tasks into your task boxes. Student will naturally be focused on the task when they get to sort using these cool erasers!
Don’t forget all of the bat themed tasks that are great to use around Halloween. This one is from the Bats & Halloween Unit.

Bat crafts are perfect for targeting body parts. You can also talk about how people and bats are alike and different. First, we read the book, All About Bats, which told us about a bat’s body parts, what they eat, habitat, etc.
We labeled parts of a bat with this super cute poster one of my paras made for us:
Have students practice requesting and labeling body parts with cute bat crafts and cooking activities.
